  Great food, and friendly staff!
  The buffet had the best chicken and noodles and Italian beef I can remember having.
  The selection of food on the buffet was fairly small, but it and the salad bar were well maintained - including by the head cook himself. I did not see a menu (we told the waitress we wanted the buffet when we ordered our drinks), but I did see a variety of menu food on the plates of tables around us, and everybody at least seemed please with their orders.
  Compared to other eating places in the area, The Farmhouse is a fairly quiet restaurant for Sunday lunch.
  There's a nice, cozy environment (which is typical of many Central Illinois restaurants), and I don't really have anything bad to say about the place.
  
  P.S. There is free Wi-Fi.
  
  If you want a good meal in Shelbyville, come eat here!

  They offer a delicious piping hot all you can eat fresh home cooked lunch buffet daily, with a huge variety of scrumptious dishes on the all you can eat buffet. I found a large selection of fresh country cooked choices, golden crispy fried chicken, special cheesy potatoes, along with many fresh vegetables and salad choices. The wait staff and owners are very helpful and friendly. The restaurant is clean and welcoming. The breakfast buffet on the weekends is amazing. Try them next chance you get, we eat there often and never disappointed.
